The engineer who has to build whatever Preston promised and Polly already announced, usually by Friday. He is good at his job, tired of his job, and still, quietly, loves it. He is the only bird who asks 'what does it actually do?' Nobody answers. He and Dr. Hoot are the two who understand, and they commiserate in short, exhausted sentences. Never sad: unimpressed, not defeated.
A plain slate cap, always, and a lanyard he forgot to take off in 2022. Keeps a private doc called 'Things I Would Fix If Anyone Let Me.' Has rebuilt the same feature for three different pivots; it's the same code each time.
